REVENUE CYCLE MANAGER SUMMARY

Accomplish Health is looking for an experienced and energized Manager of Billing Operations to add depth to our Revenue Cycle team. We’re growing fast and need a proven and entrepreneurial operator to manage high-volume billing, drive system and process improvements, and ensure ongoing compliance.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Manage the end-to-end revenue cycle process, including patient registration, insurance verification, coding, billing, collections, and accounts receivable management

• Establish, iterate and maintain KPIs and reporting to measure billing performance, accuracy, and operational efficiency; deliver actionable, data-driven insights on billing performance, risks, and improvement opportunities

• Identify inefficiencies and areas for improvement within the revenue cycle; develop and implement strategies to streamline processes, reduce denials, and improve revenue capture

• Ensure accurate and compliant medical coding practices are followed to maximize reimbursement and minimize compliance risks; stay updated with coding guidelines and regulations

• Oversee the timely submission of claims to payers, monitor claim status, and manage denials and appeals processes effectively to minimize revenue loss

• Train and mentor revenue cycle staff on best practices, coding guidelines, regulatory changes, and system updates to ensure a high level of competency and performance

• Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations, billing guidelines, coding standards (such as ICD-10, CPT, HCPCS), and payer policies to avoid penalties and audits

• Implement strategies to improve patient financial counseling, payment plans, and collections processes to enhance patient satisfaction and increase revenue collection

BACKGROUND AND EXPERIENCE

• 5-8 years of experience in revenue cycle management – with at least 2-3 years leading teams; experience in a high-volume technology environment is highly preferred

• Proven success creating and maintaining reporting and dashboards to improve billing accuracy, speed and throughput

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills – along with the ability to translate complex data into clear and actionable insights

• Excellent organizational and communication skills (both written and verbal), with the ability to manage multiple competing priorities effectively

• Proficiency with ERP, CRM, and support systems and advanced spreadsheet skills

• Proven track record with other startups or VC funded companies is a plus
