What You'll Do
Deliver Outstanding Patient Care
- Provide confidential, high-quality, stigma-free clinical care centered on each patient's unique needs and goals
- Conduct comprehensive initial patient assessments, diagnose relevant metabolic disorders, and develop personalized treatment plans
- Educate patients on the scientific principles of obesity and prescribe appropriate weight loss therapies following Accomplish Health's evidence-based clinical protocols
- Leverage our software-enabled clinical model that integrates pharmacotherapy, nutrition therapy, health coaching, and remote physiological monitoring
Manage Patient Progress & Communications
- Review and manage daily clinical tasks, patient communications, and laboratory results
- Monitor patient progress through remote physiological monitoring data and adjust treatment plans accordingly
- Maintain complete, timely, and thorough medical records with appropriate encounter-related billing documentation
Collaborate Across Disciplines
- Work alongside registered dietitians, health coaches, and other healthcare professionals to create seamless, effective patient experiences
- Contribute to a team environment focused on holistic patient outcomes and continuous improvement
What You'll Bring
Required Qualifications
- Board certification as a Nurse Practitioner
- 2-3 years of clinical experience in bariatric medicine, endocrinology, primary care, or related specialties
- Hands-on experience prescribing and managing anti-obesity pharmacotherapy
- Active, unrestricted license to practice in at least one state (additional state licenses are a plus)
- Certification in obesity medicine is a plus
Clinical Expertise
- Deep understanding of the genetic, biological, environmental, social, and behavioral factors contributing to obesity
- Proficiency in non-surgical therapeutic interventions including dietary management, physical activity prescription, behavioral modification, and pharmacotherapy
- Knowledge of peri- and post-operative care for endoscopic, metabolic, and bariatric surgery patients
Essential Skills
- Exceptional written and verbal communication abilities
- Strong technical competency and comfort with telehealth platforms
- Ability to build rapport and deliver care effectively in a virtual environment
