Renaissance Benefits is hiring an experienced group benefits Account Manager to support our growing Florida territory!
At Renaissance, the Account Manager develops and maintains ongoing client relationships by preserving client satisfaction and enhancing the client experience through strong customer service acumen, strong consulting, negotiation, leadership skills, and deep product/maintenance knowledge while maintaining a high degree of operational effectiveness.
What will this role entail?
Recognizes the sold case parameters and stays informed throughout the implementation to ensure a smooth transition.
Segments clients based on size, profitability, and broker relationship. Develops appropriate service strategy and documented plan accounts and acts as escalation point for resolution of non-routine issues.
Understands client’s business, issues, and needs through required proactive face-to-face client visits and phone contact; builds, maintains, and manages positive ongoing client relationship and provides continual education to clients on Renaissance processes, policies, and procedures. Keeps clients and brokers/consultants apprised of product and service enhancements.
Responsible for oversight, monitoring, and compliance with any performance guarantees on assigned cases.
Serves as Subject Matter Expert to Sales Representatives on service capabilities, policies, and procedures.
Utilizes the best practices; identifies internal process, policy, procedure, or technology issues that may adversely impact client satisfaction; works with internal partners to identify and implement solutions. Partners with Regional Account Manager on service issues.
Contributes to and participates in departmental and organization-wide projects and committees designed to enhance service, improve efficiency, and improve knowledge.
Other tasks as requested by Manager or Director.
Minimum Requirements:
Position requires a bachelor’s degree in business administration, or related field and three years’ experience in sales, services of large group accounts, and insurance contract language. Will accept any suitable combination of education, training, or experience.
Position requires the ability to analyze and resolve problems; use independent judgment and communicate effectively with internal and external contacts.
Position requires a state health insurance license or must obtain one within three months of employment.
