Order Picker - Full Time

Position Title: Order Picker

Department: Order Fulfillment

Reports To: Order Fulfillment Manager

Job Summary:The Order Picker at Buy Wander is responsible for accurately and efficiently picking customer orders in the BuyWander warehouse. This includes selecting customer pickwaves, navigating aisles, locating SKU’d items, scanning boxes onto carts, scanning items onto the pick shelves, tracking down lost items, and assisting customers as needed.

Responsibilities:

• Order Picking:
• Retrieve items from warehouse locations according to customer order using a smartphone and scanner.
• Verify order accuracy and completeness.
• Work with speed and accuracy.
• Item Scanning:
• Ensure that every item is scanned into the correct cart and/or shelf location - nothing moves without being scanned.
• Visually confirm that all location scans are registering correctly.
• Conduct warehouse inventory scans as needed.
• Customer Assistance:
• Assist with running customer orders and customer load out as directed by the Supervisor.
• Lost Item Tracking
• Hunt for Lost Items in the warehouse using last-known-location and other logic.
• Warehouse Organization:
• Maintain a clean and organized shelves.
• Ensure items are stored in their designated locations.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous experience in order picking is preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to operate a smartphone and Bluetooth scanner.
• Ability to lift and move heavy objects.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
• Ability to regularly lift, carry, and move up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to bend, stoop, and reach.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Schedule and Wage:

• Monday - Friday | 7:00 am - 3:30 pm
• $18.00 per hour
• Earn up to an additional $8/hour in bonuses for exceptional performance

Pay: $18.00 per hour
