As a Patient Experience Representative - Appointment Prep your primary task is to ready appointments for our mobile phlebotomist. You will interpret lab orders, map test codes in the Quest directory, calculate tube counts, and determine processing requirements accurately. We are looking for someone who will hustle and care about doing a good job. You must be comfortable with repetitive work. This is a highly repetitive, desk-based role focused entirely on preparing appointments, so it requires someone who is detail-oriented, efficient, and comfortable with routine work!
Schedule:
- Sun–Thu
- 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM PST (9:30am-6:00 pm CST/10:30am-7:00pm EST)
Training schedule will be Mon-Fri for first 2-3 weeks!
Compensation is $17/hr and non-negotiable
At Getlabs, you will:
- Ready appointments for our mobile phlebotomist
- Coordinate with doctors and physicians to retrieve lab orders
- Respond to, troubleshoot, and resolve patients issues in a timely and positive manner
- Coordinate with our local city teams assisting mobile specialists and provide ongoing updates to patients
- Performance expectations include completing 12 appointments per hour with fewer than 5 errors per month
What we are looking for:
- 2+ years of customer-facing experience with medical experience
- Tech-savvy, efficient, and self-motivated.
- Able to maintain a minimum of 12 tickets per hour with high-quality work.
- Empathetic, proactive, and takes pride in helping people resolve issues.
- Experience processing or reading lab orders
- Ability to adapt in a rapid growth environment
- Strong problem solving skills
- Personable and love speaking with others via phone, text, email, and chat
