Senior Product Manager, AI Interpreter & Core Platform
Location: Remote (US-based) Capacity: Full-Time
About Jeenie
Jeenie is an AI + human interpreting platform built for the fast-paced needs of modern healthcare and trusted across industries. We connect clinicians and patients to medically-qualified interpreters in hundreds of languages, by video or audio, on any device.
The Opportunity
Jeenie sits at the intersection of two of the most exciting areas in technology right now: AI and real-time human communication. We're building products that push the boundaries of what's possible in language access — combining a best-in-class human interpreter network with cutting-edge AI capabilities. We're looking for a Senior PM who wants to work on hard, meaningful problems at the frontier of both.
The Role
You'll own the product roadmap across two interconnected areas: Jeenie's AI Interpreter and the core platform features that underpin our human interpreting business. You'll serve as Product Owner for a dedicated engineering team, setting priorities, writing specs, and driving execution. You'll report to the Head of Product and collaborate closely across the product organization.
What You'll Be Doing
-
AI Interpreter: Own the roadmap for Jeenie's AI Interpreter — defining the next milestones, identifying opportunities to deepen its capabilities, and sequencing the work to get there. Balance speed of iteration with quality, safety, and user trust.
-
Core Platform: Drive improvements across key platform experiences including advanced reporting, interpreter management tooling, in-session UX, and more. These are the features that make the business run and customers stay.
-
Product Vision & Priorities: Translate customer feedback, operational data, and business goals into a clear, defensible roadmap. Make hard prioritization calls and communicate them well.
-
Engineering Partnership: Serve as Product Owner for your dev team — running cadences, writing clear requirements, unblocking decisions, and maintaining a healthy backlog.
-
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work across design, engineering, AI research, operations, and go-to-market to ship work that matters. Represent the product in customer conversations when needed.
-
Quality Bar: Define what good looks like for your products — and build the feedback loops to know when you're hitting it and when you're not.
Early Priorities (First 90 Days)
-
First 30 days: Get deep on the AI Interpreter: use it end-to-end, understand its current state, where the biggest opportunities lie, and where the most important near-term work is. Shadow customer calls and support escalations. Understand the core platform's current state — what's stable, what's brittle, and what customers are asking for most. Take ownership over your development team and establish working rhythms.
-
Days 30–60: Begin prioritizing the core platform backlog based on customer impact and feasibility. Identify the highest-leverage near-term bets across both workstreams.
-
Days 60–90: Present a roadmap across both product areas, grounded in customer needs and engineering reality. Have multiple core platform and AI Interpreter improvements actively in flight.
What You've Done / Requirements
-
5–7 years in Product Management, with a track record of shipping real products used by real customers.
-
At least 2 years building AI-powered products — you understand what makes AI products different to build, evaluate, and iterate on, and you've navigated the gap between "demo-ready" and "production-ready."
-
Comfortable serving as Product Owner on an agile team — you know how to run a backlog, write a good ticket, and keep a team moving without micromanaging.
-
Experience engaging directly with customers and prospects to understand their needs, surface pain points, and translate those insights into roadmap decisions.
-
Excellent communicator: you can write a crisp one-pager, give a tight roadmap presentation, and have a hard prioritization conversation without losing the room.
-
Prior startup founding experience is a plus, but not required.
-
Healthcare or regulated industry experience is a plus, but not required.
We know great product managers come from a variety of backgrounds. The experience range listed here is a guideline, not a hard rule — whether you have 4 years of exceptionally relevant experience or well over 7, we want to hear from you.
